Our commitment
We build sburq.com to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is a feature of the site, not an afterthought.
What we've done
Semantic HTML5 structure with proper landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
Color contrast meeting WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
Keyboard navigability throughout, with visible focus indicators.
Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
Alt text on every meaningful image.
Captions on any embedded video (we currently host none).
Reduced-motion preference respected via the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
Form labels and validation messages associated with inputs.
Known limitations
We test in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile. We do not formally support browsers older than three years. The embedded Google Maps frame on our Contact page is governed by Google's accessibility practices, not ours.
